Join our photography workshop in the beautiful mountains of western Virginia where springtime is stunning. There will be many subjects to inspire you — cascades, waterfalls, beautiful and sometimes-rare wildflowers, old mills, villages, farms, country churches, and mountain mists that abound in this historic area. You can't go wrong photographically.
We'll help you celebrate your passion for photography, hone your seeing and imaging skills, and teach you how elements of composition and the magic of light work in concert to make wonderful photographs.
We'll be based in Warm Springs in historic Bath County, located high in the beautiful Alleghany Mountains of Appalachia. Not much has changed in this county since 1861 when General Robert E. Lee said of the area, "The views are so magnificent ... the valleys so beautiful, the scenery so peaceful." You'll agree that this is a wonderful place to photograph. In fact, this area has attracted interest from National Geographic, The Travel Channel, and others. Scouting Option: For those who want more time with Margo and Arnie, we offer the opportunity to scout and shoot with them before most of our domestic workshops. We limit this to two people per day who ride in the car with the instructors. During these days while Arnie and Margo do their own photography and final scouting for the workshop, there is also lots of individual instruction and discussions about photography. Lightroom Private Instruction: Some of our participants prefer to come in a day ahead and get some added instruction in Lightroom. Contact us for details.

You will also receive written instructions on the ins and outs of successfully and easily turning your favorite digital images into beautiful prints straight out of the latest version of Lightroom using your own printer.
