When people think of France, they usually think about Provence, right after Paris, and it is to Provence that we are headed. With its hill-top towns, twisty, cobblestone streets, charming fabrics, masses of flowers, bories (those little, round, dry-stone huts), Roman aqueducts, arched gates, patchwork fields, there is so much to explore.
We'll visit market day in a larger town as well as picturesque, smaller villages such as Lacoste (yes, of clothing fame) where we can find all sorts of hidden treasures.
Arnie and Margo look forward to showing you this area and the special places they have found where you'll be able to celebrate your passion for photography, hone your seeing
and imaging skills, and learn about the magic of light to make wonderful photographs.
We'll be based in the heart of the Luberon, a particularly photogenic and historic part of Provence. Each day, we'll visit a different area.
Margo's love of languages has helped, and she
has spoken fluent French since she was in grade school. Also, the hosts at our inn speak fluent English. This means that you don't even have to worry about any language barrier, although a "Bonjour" or "Merci" is always appreciated!
For those who want to do two, back-to-back workshops (Scottish Highlands & the Isle of Skye or Paris, City of Light), as some of our participants are doing, we give an additional 5% discount. The caveat, because of high PayPal fees, is that the payments need to be made by check.
