We have been doing a ton of walking. Both Fitbit and the iPhone indicated close to 8-1/2 miles. Rather than a lot of verbiage, I’ll try to tell the story of the last two days in mostly captions:

Arnie’s and my days start out here at a corner cafe just down the street from our flat. There is a goldfish pond with two Lilies floating about.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. Arnie has always appreciated art, especially when line and form come into play. There were some funny comments on this one on Facebook!© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. On the way to Promenade Plantée or Coulée verte René-Dumont, (elevated walkway), we pass by Bibliotheque d’Arsenal, a library/archives that specialized in the French literature from the 16th to the 19th century and in the history of books, according to the national library website. I liked the canon wth the creature ready to gobble up a cannon ball or two … or three.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. From Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures. This is part of the route we usually take on our way back to the airport after yet another visit to Paris. It should be just fine by the time we leave.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. A man stands stoically by the wooden sailboats that have been rented for decades and decades. My favorite shot of the blog, and a type of image I love making. We were looking for a bicycle that never materialized in the right way and the right time from the right direction. Instead I get this old gentleman walking his Westie.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. All Rights Reserved. From Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures. There is a marvelous antique shop next door to us, and we have all been amused by the ample display of glass eyes that were used in the medical profesional.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. A little frou-frou dog looks patiently out the rear window of its owner’s VW lorry. I love those little trucks and vans that are so much a part of Europe and elsewhere.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. This window display particularly intrigued me. I am not sure what the message was, but it certainly was a bizarre juxtaposition of subject matter. a Dark skull under the watchful eye (or not) of an angel or two.© 2016 Margo Taussig Pinkerton. We ended up these two days with a walk to one of the jazz clubs. Some 8-1/2 miles later for that day, we returned to the flat ahd collapsed into bed!

Love your whole trip blog! Were the canon balls eaten or regurgitated?!

So glad you are enjoying the blog.

As to those canon balls, the jury is still out on those. Perhaps eaten, then regurgitated! Whichever, that creature does not look happy!

      Take care,

      TBC
