If you want to grow as a photographer, Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures is a prerequisite! We’re never too old to learn. Loved it!

Thank you for the NOLA workshop! It was a wonderful experience made even more so by seeing how much you brought out the talent of the participants. NOLA as always continues to amaze.

A huge thanks to both of you for an amazing first workshop! You are wonderful teachers in addition to being great photographers. I learned a ton and definitely got out of my comfort zone. The icing on the cake was spending the better part of a week with such great people in an amazing city!

I promise to keep working on the muscle memory of holding my camera the right way, Margo!

I apologize for taking so long to write this email to both of you. I want to thank you as a 'spousal unit' for being able to travel with and enjoy the group in New Orleans. I enjoyed time with everyone in the group and especially enjoyed meeting both of you. Based on the energy and enthusiasm of the group, I’d say you have a very nice gig going with traveling to interesting places to teach and learn. I probably learned a couple of things myself, just based on the osmosis of being there.

It was so great getting to know all of you. So much fun. What a whirlwind. Can't believe it. I learned so much and am forever grateful for everything from Margo and Arnie but also from all of you as well.

I opened a magazine this morning which had some photos by a local photographer (I don't know) of a family that were highlighted. I had so much to think about, so many new tools..... how 'bad' the shots and the editing was. It felt good to actually think about it and what could have made the photos so much better. Haha.

Huge thank you to you and Arnie. I have had a chance today to review my pictures, and as much as I have a zillion miles of improvement ahead of me....I am amazed at how different my pics are already....a testament to your wisdom and advice to look for the light...the shadows...the hands...the colours and most of all, how to hold the camera for better stability...

Thank you for critiquing my pictures today....I actually found another hydrant one that I think you would like better...It happened to have all the critiqued items already in it....and that leads to what I really learned....patience...not only in making the picture but in reviewing them....don't go with the first one...sit back and look....others sometime have far better elements.

Thank you again....you are lovely couple and the ultimate professionals. I hope our paths cross again in the future.
